2K (ранее 2K Games ) — дистрибьютор и издатель интерактивных игр, развлекательного программного обеспечения. 2K является дочерней компанией Take-Two Interactive , которая также владеет Rockstar Games и Private Division . Она была создана 25 января 2005 года, после того как Take-Two приобрела разработчика Visual Concepts и её дочернюю фирму Kush Games у Sega за 24 миллиона долларов[2]
Название издательства происходит от серии спортивных игр компании Visual Concepts , которые, как правило, имели в названии 2K и первоначально выпускались только для Dreamcast . 2K были номинированы Премией Британской Академии в области видеоигр за Borderlands 2 [3]
